"O meu país está doente. O que se fez no meu país foi uma guerra moral aos de baixo, aos mais fracos e que não tem defesa, aos que são velhos e não tem mais saída, aos que tinham pouco e aos que ainda tinham alguma coisa, tratando-os de ricos, e essa guerra moral passou por lhes incutir uma culpa que não tinham e assim impedi-los de responder ao ataque que lhes foi feito. Esta guerra moral teve sucesso, até porque as pessoas nesta era de psicologismo, absorvem culpa como uma esponja. São culpados pelos desmandos dos filhos, são culpados por não terem emprego, são culpados por serem velhos, são culpados por terem casado com “aquela” pessoa, são culpados por se terem divorciado, são culpados porque tem pouco dinheiro e, num país de “sucesso”, isso é uma fraqueza, são culpados por “viverem acima das suas posses”.
